CHMS produces three main shows every year with the hard work and dedication of our amazing members! The shows vary in scale, so there is bound to be a show that suits everyone.
FEB SHOW
As it says in the name, Feb show takes place in February (Spring term), and auditions take place in Autumn term. This is CHMS' biggest show in terms of cast, production team, and production scale. The show is performed in the Joseph Rowntree Theatre every year.
SPRING SHOW
Spring show takes place at the end of Spring term and auditions at the end of Autumn term. With such a quick turnover, this is the smallest show CHMS produces. The show is performed in the John Cooper Studio @ 41 Monkgate.
SUMMER SHOW
Summer show is the middle ground in terms of scale between Feb show and Spring show. The show takes place at the end of Summer term and auditions at the end of Spring term. This show is also performed in the John Cooper Studio.

![Into the Woods [2012]](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/036df6_dfedbde2d6fc1cb7400ac56d1dabdae5.png) Into the Woods [2012]CHMS' 2012 production was this enchanting musical, where fairy tales are told with a twist and a collection of familiar characters reveal all new personalities. An ambivalent Cinderella? A blood-thirsty Little Red Ridinghood? A Prince Charming with a roving eye? They're all among the cockeyed characters in James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's fractured fairy tale. | ![Rent [2010]](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/036df6_9d74de8094f1bf898b889e99773b5107.png) Rent [2010]CHMS' 2010 production was this rock opera which tells the story of one year in the life of a group of bohemians struggling in modern day New York. The story centres around Mark and Roger, two roommates. While a former tragedy has made Roger numb to life, Mark tries to capture it through film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss, AIDS, and modern day life. | ![Jekyll and Hyde [2011]](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/036df6_b852ab8b2032902550c9bbbe60ac97ff.png) Jekyll and Hyde [2011]CHMS’ 2011 production retold the story of a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Convinced the cure for his father’s mental illness lies in the separation of Man’s evil nature from his good, Jekyll unwittingly unleashed his own dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th century London as the maniacal Hyde. |
